Henry Sandon with the Staffordshire Millennium Embroideries
Antiques Roadshow guru Henry Sandon first met Sylvia in September 1998 when she was displaying the unfinsihed set of Embroideries at a history fair in Dudley Town Hall. On that day, they were photographed together standing in front of the not quite completed 17th century panel. Seven years later in 2005 The Antiques Road Show came to Lichfield where the completed Embroideries are housed in their specially constructed gallery in the St Mary's Heritage Centre. It was arranged for Henry to visit St Mary's to view the Embroideries about which he had been so enthusiastic back in 1998. Here Sylvia and Henry stand in front of the 19th and 20th century panels.
